More then 20 years ago Sergiu, founder of COSTINS, had the first experience in selling watches. It was in his home village when he was a teenager and he only sold a few watches at that time. Seeing people wear the watches he sold, gave him a sense of pride and years later that sparked the inspiration for this watch.
Since then one of Sergiu's dreams was to one day create a watch that told a story and inspire people to treasure time.
After high-school he moved abroad and time eventually brought him to the United Kingdom in 2015.

In 2023 when he was in vacation back home, he had a moment of inspiration to design a watch. Being in the same place where he sold the first watch, he understood that this might be a sign - a sign to create that dream. Since then he worked every day to make this happen.

The design of the first watch collection was inspired by his home country, Moldova, as a tribute to his roots. This inspired part of the brand concept - accepting who we are and embracing ourselves fully. The power to see the beauty and the positive in everything.
